A TSHBP sponsored medical clinic membership program that is staffed by physicians and physician extenders that provide primary, preventative, and urgent care services. Your clinic membership is 100% paid for by your employer. You do not need an appointment and will have $0 cost for medical services.
Can I go to Access2day for any health issue?
Yes, Access2day clinicians treat many common problems for primary, preventative, and urgent care services with no out-of-pocket cost for Access2day members and their covered dependents on the TSHBP health plans.
Do I need an appointment and what is the cost?
Access2day members have no cost, and no appointment is needed.
What do I do when I get to the clinic?
Show your health insurance card to the receptionists and identify yourself as an Access2day member. You will have no co-pay, receive priority access, and will not receive a bill for any services.
Is there an Access2day clinic in Beaumont?
Yes, Eastex Urgent Care at 4310 Dowlen Road is open M-F 8a-8p and 8a-5p on weekends. The clinic is located across the street from the Parkdale Mall/Dillards. Hundreds of BISD employees have already received quality care at Eastex Urgent Care.
How do I find Access2day clinic locations and when are they open?
You have several options. You can click here to see the clinic list and hours of operation. You can also download our Clinic Finder app at your Google Play or App Store or call 800.797.9503 and ask a customer service representative. Remember, Access2day members do not need an appointment and pay $0 cost for their visit at any Access2day clinic.
Do I need an Access2day membership card for services?
Members are mailed a membership card, but if you need a card, you can order another membership card here or call 800.797.9503. Membership cards are not required to receive medical services, but it is encouraged to have a membership card. If you do not have a membership card, simply identify yourself as an Access2day member along with your TSHBP health insurance card when you visit the clinic.
How do I know which Access2day clinic to go to?
You have access to all Access2day clinic locations, not just the location closest to your office or home. Whether you’re on vacation, traveling for work, or away at college, you have access to $0 cost quality care at any Access2day Health location.
Does it matter where my insurance coverage is?
Yes, an Access2day clinic membership is an add-on benefit for you and any covered dependents on TSHBP health insurance plans. You must present your employer health insurance card when arriving at an Access2day clinic and identify yourself as an Access2day member.
Do I need to sign up?
No, you and your covered dependents are automatically enrolled if you are on the TSHBP health plans.
Can I take my infants and young children to Access2day clinics?
Check the location you plan to visit for age requirements (if any). Remember, dependents must be covered by your employer-sponsored health plan to receive care at any Access2day location.
Do Access2day clinicians give prescriptions for routine and minor conditions?
Yes, our providers will prescribe medications for your condition after they perform an assessment if they feel it is necessary.
What test or screenings are available?
Basic lab and x-ray services are covered, along with most common blood test. Our tests include, but are not limited to, screenings for cholesterol, blood sugar, liver, and kidney function, thyroid function, and PSA.
Can I bring in a lab and/or x-ray from an outside physician?
No. Your Access2day clinic will order labs and x-rays based on their independent assessment of the patient’s needs.
